Everybody loves eating dessert, but most people feel that creating a delicious dessert is beyond their cooking abilities. Don't give up yet, here is a delicious dessert recipe that is quick, easy and will make you look like a genius in the kitchen.

The strawberry angel food dessert recipe

To make this amazing recipe you will need:

An 18 ounce jar of strawberry glaze
A quart of fresh strawberry (sliced)
2 eight ounce packets of softened cream cheese
One cup of white sugar
One container of frozen whipped topping
One 10-inch angel food cake

First of all, crumble the cake into a 9x13 inch dish. If you have children you can get them to help you with this part, we all know children love to make a mess. Next, beat the sugar and cream cheese together in a bowl until it is light and fluffy. Gently fold in the whipped topping.

Push the crumbled food cake down into the dish and spread your cream cheese and sugar mixture over. In a separate bowl mix the strawberries and strawberry glaze together until the glaze coats all of the strawberries evenly. Spread your strawberries over the layer of cream cheese and put it in the refrigerator until you are ready to serve. That's all there is to it.

This dessert recipe is quick and tastes great. It is up for interpretation as well. Try substituting the strawberries for blueberries or any other berry that you love the taste of.
