Dinner for Five

Dinner for five? Sounds like a stressful situation. But it does not need to be. To successfully cook for this amount of people, you need to prepare and choose a dish that can feed a large amount of people easily and also taste amazing.

The easiest dinner for five to prepare is pasta. Pasta will only involve two or three pans. It is easy to control and easy to produce a large amount of. If you really want to take the stress out of cooking for this many people, visit your local supermarket's olive bar.

Go there and select a collection of olives, sundried tomatoes and balls of mozzarella. Buy more than you think you will need. The great thing about making pasta sauce is that you can reheat it the next day and it is always better to have more than not enough. While you are in the supermarket pick up some fresh basil, garlic, grated Parmesan cheese, canned chopped tomatoes and olive oil as well. This is all you will need to prepare a fantastic dinner for five.

Prepare by chopping all the ingredients you purchased. Add olive oil to the pan and once this oil is hot, add the chopped garlic (4 cloves should be enough). Once the garlic starts to brown, add the chopped olives and sundried tomatoes. These will not need long in the pan, so quickly add the canned chopped tomatoes and the balls of mozzarella. Bring the heat down on the pan and stir. It is now that you will want to add the basil. Be generous. This is the great thing about cooking this meal. The more generous you are with the ingredients, the better it will taste.

Drain your pasta and divide it between the plates. Then you will want to pour your sauce over the pasta, cover the sauce in Parmesan cheese and more basil and you are ready to serve. This is a meal everyone will enjoy and the delicious flavors and health benefits will ensure that your guests are happy and full of energy.
